Cupcakes and kittens, what a crazy combination.  Not too crazy when you think about how it got started, actually.  It combines the two things I love most in life, besides my fiance.  I volunteer for a rescue group and we manage a local feral cat colony (if you want to learn more about feral cats - click The Feral Cat Project tab).  Needless to say, there are lots of cats (and dogs, of course) that need our help and Cupcakes For Kittens is my attempt at helping that need. 

My goal with this project is to raise money to help spay/neuter the feral cats and manage the colony so they can live a safe & peaceful life.  When that goal is done - there will surely be others that need help, and will help fund our rescue group.

Why cupcakes? Because I love cupcakes, especially vegan cupcakes, considering that I don't eat any animal products.  Why vegan, you ask? Because the best way to raise money to help save animals is to bake with ingredients that don't harm other animals.  I promise you that my desserts (which aren't just limited to cupcakes) are delicious and cruelty free.  And hey - you can't ask for more than that!
